Born March 30, 1921 in Vancouver BC to parents Nicholas and Ruby Kelynack. She passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on May 29, 2007. Ruby was predeceased by her husband Louie in 1968, sisters Beatrice and Loretta. She is survived by daughters Rosalie (Al) Neuman of Chase, BC, Karen (Hans) Bartsch of Chase, BC, Linda (Brian) Ross, Bruce (Karroll) Tereposky of Abbotsford, BC. Ruby is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; two sisters Ivy Joinson of Abbotsford, Betty (Les) Wilson of Abbotsford; one brother Dick (Merle) Kelynack of Abbotsford and numerous nieces and Ânephews. Ruby was a farm girl at heart. She loved to work in her garden for hours. Bowling was always a passion of hers. She always babysat her grandchildren when needed and was very proud of each and every one of them. To the very end she would talk of what a wonderful family she had. Ruby has had a full and rewarding life. She was always proud of her good health up until two weeks ago.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 4 at 1:00 pm at the Seniors Resource Centre at 2478 McCallum Road, Abbotsford, BC. Please enter through the side door.
