DIX, Roy Alan

It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Dix, a beloved father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and great-uncle. He is survived by his son, Paul (Nicki); daughter, Cheryl; mother, Edith; brother, Keith (Linda); nephews, grand-niece and other relatives in England. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew. Roy was born in Brampton, Ontario and moved to British Columbia with his parents and brother, Keith, as a child. He raised a son, Paul and a daughter, Cheryl. He retired from his career with Canada Post after over 30 years of service. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Roy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him and will be remembered by all of the lives that he touched as a generous, loving and open hearted soul.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, British Columbia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
