Born on 22 Sept., 1942, Rose passed away on 7 Jan. 2009 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital after a short courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by husband Lorne, daughters Donella Robb & Deanne Wiens, sister Pamela Napper, brothers Bruce & Allen. Born to Sidney & Myrtle (Mercer) Jeffery, Rose lived her entire life in the Abbotsford area, and will be laid to rest in the Mercer plot at Hazelwood Cemetery. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A celebration of Rose's life will be held on Thursday 15 Jan. 2009 at 2 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home at 2310 Clearbrook Road, Abbotsford. A special thank you is extended to the staff at Abbotsford Regional Hospital Palliative Care, especially Amanda, Paul & Dr. Brown, who ensured that Rose was comfortable throughout her final days and hours.
