RONALD WAYNE LACEY

June 2, 1959 - August 3, 2008

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ron on August 3, 2008.

Ron is survived by his mother Daisy; aunt Rosie Pomozybida; sister Debbie;

brothers Don, Gary, Russ; loved also by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews,

aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles and cousins, close friends and all others who knew him.

He was predeceased his wife Tammy, his father Reginald, his grandparents

Mary and Peter Bilenduke, Grace and Garnet Lacey.

Ron was born and spent his early years in Fort Churchill, MB and moved to Powell River, BC where he attended High School at Max Cameron Collegiate. He worked in the construction industry in BC then farmed near Winnipegosis, MB. After suffering an injury Ron lived in Winnipeg where he dedicated his life to helping others.

He received great assistance from the Manitoba Heath Sciences Centre, Ten

Ten Sinclair and the Canadian Paraplegic Society. He served on the board as a director at Ten Ten Sinclair and was an active member of the community at 200 Watson Street.

He loved people, especially children.

Celebrations of Life will be held on Sunday, August 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the

Curling Rink in Winnipegosis, MB, also on Tuesday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m.

at Ten Ten Sinclair, Winnipeg, and on

Tuesday, August 19 at 2:30 p.m. at

Bethany Newton United Church,

14853 - 60th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
