The Rev. Ronald Arliss Hunt. June 28, 1934 ~ June 20, 2011. Dear husband of Shirley, proud father of Jonathan, David (Marnie), Joel (Cori), Christian (Susan) and Mary (Garth). He was also Grandpa to Jennifer, Nick, Matthew, Benjamin, Geoffrey, Timothy, Ashley and Victoria. Ronald spent 40 years of his life as a priest in the Anglican Church. He graduated from Huron College in London, ON. He ministered in Simcoe, ON; Dundalk, ON; London, ON; Saskatoon, SK; Calgary, AB; Ft. Macleod, including the Peigan Indian Reserve in Brocket, AB; Mission, BC and retired in North Vancouver, BC. He found joy in the healing ministry and praying for the sick and those in trouble and had been an active member of the Order of St. Luke, a healing ministry. We are grateful for the teams of doctors and nurses who cared for him during his many trips to the hospital, especially those at the end. Also to all the caregivers on 1 East in Menno Hospital who did their very best to make his days there comfortable. A Funeral Service will be held at Saint Matthew's Anglican Church, 2010 Guilford Drive, Abbotsford, BC on Saturday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
