Our beloved Father, Opa and Great Opa passed away at MSA Hospital. His youngest son, Raymond, predeceased him. He will be greatly missed by Alberta, his wife of 56 years, his children, John (Darlene) Veenstra, Henry (Carol) Veenstra, daughter in- law Kellie Veenstra, Annette (Adam) Zomar, Yvonne (Mark) Loewen, 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Jeltje (Ties) Kuil of Voorhout, Holland.
Ron was a carpenter by trade but a fisherman by heart. He also enjoyed camping, golfing, and playing cards.
A service of remembrance will be held Monday, January 29, 2007 at 1:30 pm at Henderson’s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
Following the service, a reception will be held in the tea room at Henderson’s Funeral Home.
