Rodger Neil Brown of Abbotsford, passed away May 12, 2017. He was born in Grand Forks to Charles (Bob) and Irene Brown. He was the youngest of seven brothers

Ken, Dave, Boyd, Dwight, Terry and Rick. Rodger married Leslie (nee Cruickshank) in 1980. The couple moved to Abbotsford in 1985. Here they raised their family of four children: Matthew, Tim, Carisa and Chelsea. As a pharmacist, Rodger worked for Pharmasave, Safeway and finally as a District Manager for Vision Centers and Pharmacies for Walmart. After his time with Walmart, Rodger entered the adventuring time of his life. He did a driving tour of Canada and the US. He spent time in Costa Rica and did a biking tour in Europe. In Dec. he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The highlight of the next few months was the birth of his first grandson John. Rodger is survived by five brothers and their wives, his wife Leslie, his children Matt, Tim, Carisa Willems (Rob) and Chelsea, and one grandson John. A Celebration of Life will be held May 23 2017
