April 24, 1939 - July 30, 2020
After 81 years Robert David Workman (Bob) also known as "River Bob" has arrived at his heavenly home, to join his wife Ruby on July 30th, 2020.
He leaves behind his sister Shirley (Glen), daughter Lorrie, son Rob (Sonia) and 5 grandchildren.
He was born in Penticton, BC on April 24, 1939. His family moved to Vancouver, BC where he started his career as a carpet layer and just received a 60 year pin from the union.
When he retired you could always find Bob down at the Fraser River feeding all the animals.
We wish to thank the staff at Maplewood for the wonderful care given to Bob for the last 7 months of his journey. We will honor Bob's request with a private family celebration of life.
