Warkentin Robert (Bob) James. Robert (Bob) James Warkentin, born October 24, 1940 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away May 23, 2013. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Peter Warkentin, and is survived by his loving wife, Deirdre, brothers, Donald (Carol), Thomas (Lois), Roy (Marg), sons Barry and Stewart, and a large extended family of Friesens and Warkentins. Bob moved to Abbotsford when he was 5 years old and has lived and worked in the community as a real estate agent. Bob passed away peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation. Funeral services will be held at Central Valley Baptist Church, 33393 Old Yale Road, Abbotsford, Friday, May 31st at 1:00 pm.
