Robert Otto Sanford left this life on August 4th, 2011. He has gone to be with his God, whom he loved so dearly. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but he was very ready to go, after a long fight with illness. Bob was predeceased by his brother Gene, and his parents, Otto and Mabel. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Nancy, his brother James (Nancy) Sanford, and sister Glenda Spanfelner, his four children, Robert (Nadine) Sanford, Daniel (Wendy) Sanford, Linda (Raphael) Meadows, and Susan (Joe) Yakmission and his grandchildren, Ethan, Eric, Sam, Robin, Darius, Tyler, Isaiah, Grace and Olive. Memorial Service to he held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Highland Community Church located at 3130 McMillan Road, Abbotsford.
