It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bob Nelson at the age of 80. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, his wife of 52 years, Trudi and his daughters Debbie (Gord Easton) and Diane (Alan Mortimer). Bob will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Patrick Easton and Tia and Rachel Mortimer. He was predeceased by his daughter Jill in 1979. Bob was a pioneer of Matsqui Prairie having farmed and lived there his whole life. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Henderson's Funeral Home at 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford, BC with Pastor Frank Martens officiating.
