It is with heavy hearts, we say goodbye to a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, with his loved ones by his side on July 27th, 2020 at Holmberg Hospice, Abbotsford.
Lloyd was born in Brandon, Manitoba and moved to Langley in 1964 with his family and in 1968 his family moved to Abbotsford. Lloyd married the love of his life, Laura June Carnahan, on July 13, 1974.
Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years June, sons Scott (Andrea), and Brian (Esther), brothers Al (Colleen) and Marc, sister-in-law Sylvia, cherished grandchildren; Dexter, Maeva and Oscar, nieces and nephews, cousin Ken Bell in Outlook, SK, friends, family in Manitoba and Heather Andrew. His is predeceased by his father Reaburn in 1973, mother Beth in 2013 and brother-in-law Ken in 2019.
In his working years Lloyd was a porter at SFU, grounds person for Langley School Board, labourer at Willows, Canada Packers, Maplewood, PanReady and Lilydale Foods until his retirement.
Lloyd's family would like to thank the amazing staff at Holmberg Hospice for all the wonderful care and compassion they provided Lloyd over the last 11 weeks, it was so appreciated. Along the road of suffering
You found a little lane,
That took you up to heaven
