July 2, 1957 - February 19, 2021
The passing of Robert Ronald Kroeker occurred unexpectedly at his home on February 19th, 2021. He was born at MSA Hospital July 2nd, 1957, the son of Henry and Agnes Kroeker of Abbotsford, BC.
Left to mourn their father are his four sons, Justin (Carola), Shaun (Lindsay), Mike (Jolene) and arguably his favourite Nic. Robert was a caring grandfather to Lillianna, Mikayla, Ethan, Jacob, Isla, Wyatt and Gabriel. He was a kind father-in-law.
Robert is also survived by his mother, his sister Denise (Fernando) and his brothers David and Jerry. He is predeceased by his father Henry and his brother Rick whom he missed.
Robert retired early and spent his past few years enjoying the company of his sons, his dogs and his grandchildren. His pampered pooch Leroy or his adored pup Sasha were never far from him. An avid fan of checkers and backgammon, he loved a good challenge.
His first and foremost enjoyment was day or evening spent around a campfire with his sons and their families. Robert asked for nothing more than a great BBQ or potluck and good cheer with those he loved. He enjoyed travelling to see his sons when they lived on the east coast and in Alberta. His boys recall his hard work when they were young and that it shaped them to give their best effort for their families.

There will be a celebration of Robert's life at a later date due to Covid-19 restrictions. As an expression of his memory spend quality time with your family or donate to a local SPCA.
