With heavy hearts Bobs family wishes to announce his passing due to complications from Myasthenia Gravis. Bob fell sick in Arizona. After 2 weeks in the hospital in Las Vegas Bob was flown home to Abbotsford. He passed away quietly 21 January 2022, 6:15 pm, with Sharon and Becky by his side.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sharon, daughter Becky (Darrell), Austyn and Logan. Nephews Jason, Derrick (Megan) and their boys Karter and Cooper. Sister Carole
(Bert), niece, Miranda and family and nephew Jeremy. Also survived by many relatives in England and many, many friends.
At an early age Bob took an interest in cars. This turned into a love for racing. He was part of the Royal City Sports Car Club and involved at Westwood for many years. In 1994 Bob
started working on the safety crew at Mission Raceway Park. Bob proudly joined the British Columbia Custom Car Association. A 25-year love for drag racing ensued. Bob was known
and respected by the racers for his dedication to safety and the well being of the racers. He became known as Top End Bob.
A memorial service will be held on March 11 at 11:00 am, Hatzic Cemetery. The service will be live streamed for those that cannot attend in person at the following link: https://funeraweb.tv/en/diffusions/47467
