Robert Hugh, passed away peacefully at Valhaven Care Home in Abbotsford, BC on Saturday December 8, 2007. He was in his 97th year. Predeceased by his wife, Elsie, his son David, brother James and sisters Una and Nora. Bob is survived by his sons, Robert, Rodney and his wife Marnie, his daughter-in-law Anita, sister-in-law Olive; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his nieces and nephews and a few remaining dear friends. Bob spent his working life in the general insurance business with Royal Insurance, in Alberta. He retired and moved to BC. Elsie died in 2002 and Bob remained active and independent until recently, when he moved into Valhaven, where they took excellent care of him.
Funeral service is to be held at 11:15 am on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at St Matthews Anglican Church, 2010 Guilford Dr., in Abbotsford, with The Rev. Dr. Trevor Walters officiating. Interment to follow at Musselwhite Cemetery, in Abbotsford.
