Robert passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 at the age of 91 in Burnaby, BC.
He was born in Parry, Saskatchewan. He lived a full and varied life. He was a farmer in his younger years, and later an auto mechanic, an equipment operator, and a garage door installer. He was very mechanical and methodical. He had a love of animals from his younger farm days, especially dogs.
Robert was one of five siblings. He leaves behind his younger sister June Amos and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his much-loved father George, mother Gerda, brother Glen, and sisters Arlene and Yvonne.
He is survived by his three children, Joan Yvonne Brown, Betty Jean Parsonson, and Larry Robert Brown born to his first wife Shirley, his two adopted children, Timothy William Brown and Carol Rae Lorenzini born to his second wife Grace, and his step-children, Lana Toews, Larry Jacobson and Loren Jacobson born to his third wife Ruth.
On Friday, October 12th, at 2:00 pm he will be laid to rest at Hazelmere Cemetery in Abbotsford with his dearly loved wife Ruth who passed in 2009.
May they rest in peace together and keep a watchful eye over all us until we all meet again.
In honour of his wishes there will be no funeral. If you wish to make donations in his memory they can be made to the BCSPCA.
