After a brief illness, Bob died at Vancouver General Hospital August 17, 2003. He was born in Calgary, Alberta August 16, 1928 to George & Alice Sales. He is predeceased by his parents, daughter Lynn, grandson Bryan.
He is lovingly remembered and will be forever missed by his wife of 55 years, Alma; children, Bev (Terry), Cathy, Rob (Janet), brother Jack (Marion) of Abbotsford and sister Pat (Australia); 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, friends.
His greatest joy was being husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.
Bob was a long-time resident of Surrey and Abbotsford, as well as an active member in Surrey & Mountainview Alliance churches. He was employed for 25 years for Crown Tire Ltd.
The family would like to thank the staff on the 7th floor of VGH and Lyle Magnus of Sevenoaks Alliance for their support, caring during this time.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at Carriage Lane Clubhouse, 32691 Garabaldi Drive, Abbotsford.
