It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ritchie after a long and courageous battle with cancer on November 1st, 2003 at the age of 68 years.
The Lord took him home. He was predeceased by his father, Fred Allens and his brother Percy Allens.
He is survived by Cassie, his loving wife of 49 years, their children, Rick (Debbie), Darrell (Elaine), Sherry (Mel) Olson and Mark (Sandie), his mother Edith Allens, sister Joan (Rudy) Hinteregger, both of Edmonton, Alberta and 9 grandchildren, as well as many friends and family. He will be well remembered and sadly missed.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 7. 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Fellowship Baptist Church, 2950 Blue Jay Street, Abbotsford, B.C.
The family would like to thank home nursing care and support workers and Drs. Qureshi and Kobierski for their caring and patient support of Ritchie over the last 2 1/2 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ritchie's memory to Immanuel Fellowship Baptist church (Kitchen Fund) would be appreciated.
