Rita Picco
October 7, 1921 ~ October 16, 2015
Rita passed away peacefully October 16, 2015, at the age of 94, after a courageous battle with cancer. Heaven's Missing Angel has ascended, and she is finally with her beloved late husband George Henry. Rita is survived by her children: Darlene (Leaman), Marilyn (Daniel), Patricia (Michael), Gregory and Henry (Vicki), grandchildren: Dylan, Shawna, Jessica, Jillian, George, Shawn, Justin, Joslin and Andrea and great-grandchildren: Owen, Jake, Max, Brooke, Kaydin, Kolton, Olivia and Miley. Rita has implanted all of her best in all of us, and any soul she has touched. Her kindness, caring, compassion, quick wit and sense of humour will stay with us always, and we know she is in heaven, watching over all of us. Special thanks to everyone at Menno Home West 2 for your excellent care and compassion. A Service of Remembrance will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 am at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Road, Abbotsford. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations to BC Children's Hospital will be gratefully accepted.
