HENDY; Richard Gordon. June 30, 1948 ~ March 13, 2014. Richard passed peacefully into his Saviour's arms surrounded by his loving family on March 13 in Abbotsford. He is survived by his wife Sandra; son Kyle (Andrea), daughter Christa (Kevin) Brand; grandchildren Wyatt, Danaea, Jonas, Ivy and Cypress; sister Carol Rathbone, brother Allan (Wendy); sister-in-law Carol Hendy, brothers and sisters-in-law Elvira & John Sawatzky, Les & Lydia Friesen, Marilyn & Bob Miller, Adeline & Phil Patrick and Ivan Friesen; many nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Joy and brothers David and Roy. Viewing will be held Thursday, March 20 from 7 pm to 8 pm at Level Ground Mennonite Church, 31216 King Road, Abbotsford. The memorial service will follow on Friday, March 21 at 1:30 pm. Donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada or BC Cancer Foundation are welcome.
