Dec. 8, 1931 – Nov. 6, 2004
God saw he was getting tired
And a cure could not be found
So he put his loving arms
And whispered ‘Come with Me’
With tear filled eyes we
watched him suffer
and fade away
Although we loved him deeply
We could not make him stay.
His golden heart stopped beating
Gentle hand put to rest
It broke our hearts to let him go
But we’re rejoicing,
he’s reached his goal
