Rhonda Ann (nee Marr) PIJNENBURG

December 8, 2005

Rhonda passed away peacefully on December 8, 2005 at Menno Hospital in Abbotsford, BC.

She was born in Calgary, Alberta on June 29, 1954 and resided in Youngstown, Alberta, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Mississauga, then moved to Abbotsford to be close to her family in 1991. Rhonda graduated from Mount Royal College in Calgary and entered her chosen field of interior design until she was stricken with Multiple Sclerosis in 1986.

She demonstrated amazing bravery in the face of MS and her ability to see the humorous side of her circumstances will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Special thanks to Dr. Wallace as well as the care and nursing staff of both William Rudd House and Menno Hospital who became extended family for Rhonda and provided her with loving compassion and wonderful care. Rhonda is survived by her loving parents Albert and Florence Marr; her only brother Rod; sister-in-law Hope; niece Candra and nephews Drew (Shannon Parry) and Darcy.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the MS Society of BC.
