The Reverend Wayne Erick Wattman, a resident of Abbotsford, British Columbia since 1987, passed from this life early Saturday, January 26, 2019 in his 92nd year. Wayne was born in Superior, Wisconsin and resided in Canada the past 45 years. He was a minister in the United States and Canada for over 50 years. Known for his compassionate care, conversation, and delightful humor with family, friends, and parishioners, he will be deeply missed. Wayne leaves his wife, Diann, and a blended family of six children, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
His burial service took place at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon on Friday, March 1st.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 26th at 1pm at Gladwin Heights United Church, 3474 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, B.C.
