OLTHUIS; Reintje (Van Dyk). June 7, 1923 ~ Dec. 18, 2013. It is with sadness, but also joy that we announce the passing of our Mom, Oma, sister and aunt into the Lord's everlasting arms on December 18, 2013 at the age of 90. Born in Wapenveld, Holland, she married Geerhard Olthuis on November 30th, 1949 and immigrated to Canada in 1950, living in Edmonton and raising their five children. After 28 years they moved to Abbotsford, BC. She is survived by her five children, John (Julia), Ben (Alice), Bill (Diane), Anita (Rob), Johnny (Beverly), 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, her sister Henny (Jack) and brother John (Paula). Predeceased by her husband Geerhard in 2004 and 3 siblings. We would like to thank the staff at Tabor Court and Home, where she enjoyed living for the last five years. Also a thank you to the ACE unit at ARH. The internment was held at Musselwhite, and the Memorial Service was held at the Free Reformed Church on December 24th.
