Raymond Arthur Craig passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, BC, with all his family beside him, at the age of 93.
Ray served in the Canadian Merchant Navy in WWII, and marched in the Armistice Day Parades as long as he was physically able. He worked for BC Railway, North Vancouver until his retirement in 1990. Ray was Past President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, inducted into the Provincial Hall of Fame for his outstanding contributions. After retirement, he maintained his close relationships with his sister Joan and all his family in Alberta, and enjoyed camping, canoeing, and fishing with his brothers Don and George.
He is lovingly remembered by his brothers George (Shirley) and Don (Aileen), sister Joan (Alex) and all his nieces, nephews and their extended families in Alberta, Ontario, BC, and cousins in Liverpool. Also deeply missed by his family; son Don (Linda), daughters Lynda and Deborah (Ron), granddaughters Kathleen, Melissa (Ronica) and Kym (Vance), and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail, Emery, and Mila.
His family greatly appreciates the staff of Abbotsford Hospice, Holmberg House for their devoted care of Ray.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Abbotsford Eagles Club, date to be announced.
