It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother Rajini Marina Josephine Hewage, who left us peacefully early on the morning of July 14, 2024, with her son, daughter-in-law and her friend by her side. She was a woman full of love, life and laughter, who touched the lives of all who knew her. She had style, grace and attitude for miles, with a talent for playing piano, singing and cooking delicious meals. Mom was ready for the arms of god and to join her husband Gunasena in the great hereafter. She is survived by her beloved son Rajit Harry and wife Tessa, daughter Shea and partner Glen, granddaughters Bianca, Alysha and partner Luk, Katherine and Sigrid, and her dedicated and truly selfless friend, Lourdes.
A service and reception was held for her at St. Anne's Catholic Church on Friday July 19th, 2024. Her earthly being will be interred, with her husband, at the Mt. Lehman cemetery in Abbotsford, BC.
