Phyllis Wynne Wright (nee Medcalf) passed into the hands of our Lord quietly in her sleep at home August 9, 2006. Born July 18, 1920 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to Harry and Jane Wright, Phyllis is lovingly remembered by a Âsister, Jean, 4 daughters, Bessie Klassen, Betty Medcalf, Marjorie Morris and Donna Medcalf and 5 grandÂchildren, Kevin, Kimberly and Kristi, Jason and Amber.
Phyllis was a volunteer cook at St. Anne’s Barracks in WWII.
Funeral service with veterans colour guard to be held at 11:00 am Friday, August 18, 2006 from the chapel of Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., Chilliwack, BC. Reception to follow. Burial at Hazelwood Cemetery in Abbotsford, BC.
