Born in Wosley, Saskatchewan Oct. 14, 1919, moved to Hatzic Prairie in the Fraser Valley at 6 yrs. old and lived and worked on his farm which he loved so dearly until 1990. Phillip moved to Duncan, Vancouver Island with his devoted wife Rosita. He lived his life with strength, patience and passion. Phillip passed away peacefully on Nov. 3, 2006. He is sadly missed. Our hearts are filled with his spirit everyday. Thank you Phillip for sharing your spirit.
He is remembered by his family and friends. Phillip is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Rosita Hallam. Two sons Dave Hallam (Val), and Phil Hallam. Two daughters Darlene Much (Arvid), Sherry Hickmott (Albert), two grandsons Lindsey Hickmott (Kim), Jamie Hallam (Sonja). Four granddaughters Lorene Hickmott, Tricia Hough (Tyler), Leisa Hallam, Melina Hallam, great-grandchildren Brittany, Jordan, Landon, Shae, Chloé.
Survived by his caring sister Mary Guest (Harry) and 5 nieces.
Celebration of life was held at St. Edward's Church on Maple Bay Rd., Duncan, BC on Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at 11 am. Family wishes, if any, donations to be made to the Diabetic Society.
