Dr. Peter William Klassen - On November 26, 2017, Peter passed away peacefully with family by his side.
Peter is survived by Katie his wife of 72 years, his children Lilian, Wanda, Herbert (Liane), Laura (Andrew), and Kenneth (Tracy), his 8 grandchildren, and his 4 great-grandchildren.
Peter's formative years on the Alberta prairies led to study of medicine at U of Toronto, and further specialization in anaesthesiology. He partnered in the running of Treloar Anaesthetic Service in Vancouver for twenty years before their retirements in 1987.
Peter enjoyed road trips, bird hunting on the prairies, gardening, boating, fishing, and especially grand-parenting.
Peter's dry sense of humour and love of his family will be dearly missed.
