SLACK, Peter
May 21, 1949 ~ March 18, 2010
Our beloved Peter passed away peacefully on March 18, 2010 at the Crossroads Hospice in Port Moody, BC, with his wife Kathy, his sons Byron and Adam and their mother Tara McConnell, by his side. Peter was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He was predeceased by his father, Walter Slack and his mother Elizabeth Slack. He is survived by his brothers, Donald Slack, Paul (Sharon) Slack, sisters, Julie (Stephen) Baron, Wendy (David) Swanson, wife, Kathy Kaufman and sons Byron (Alyssa) Slack, Adam Slack. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the following: Callanish Society (retreat- writers workshop) or the BC Cancer Foundation.

A loss for words
But the words do break…
Through the fog of memory lost
Dripping with confidence
Weeping in fear.
I reflect on what was…
But will not be…
I ponder to what could be.
Fear to commit
Fearful of failure.
What will be que sera, sera.
How did I ever think
That life was predictable?
Relax, react, refresh, reflect
Reinvent… redefine.
