Mr. Peter "Pete" Delisle passed away peacefully on January 31, 2004 at the age of 96 at MSA Manor, Abbotsford, B.C. He was born on June 25, 1907 in Delisle, Saskatchewan.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Gladys (Bill) Bachinsky of Calgary, AB and his son Jack (Pauline) Delisle of Duncan, B.C. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Holly (Jamie), Jacqueline (Darrell), Shane (Shawna) and Julie and great-grandchildren Jessica, Taylor, Matthew, Trent and Aaron. Peter will also be deeply missed by his niece Ethel Madsen and good friend Roni Noble.
He was predeceased by his wife Pearl Delisle (1977) and daughter-in-law, Jean Delisle (1999).
Pete was employed at BC Forest Products - Cayuse for many years. He was known to his many friends as "100 ton Pete". Peter enjoyed life, family and friends.
Private Cremation service.
Interment to be held at Cedar on Vancouver Island.
