It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend.
Peter went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 13, 2019. He was 83 years old and will be lovingly and deeply missed by his wife Betty of 59 years; his children; Rhonda, Gwen (Robert), Cheryl (Arnie), Curtis, Mark, grandchildren; Cole (Misty), Rachel (Brett), Sam, Nathan, Aaron, Zackary, Isaiah; and great grandsons, Hendrik and Hans.
Peter was born in Naarden, The Netherlands and immigrated with his family in 1955 to Alberta, Canada. He moved to Terrace, BC where he spent many years with his family and later moved to Abbotsford in 1987. Peter was a baker by trade and owned his own bakery in Terrace. He was known for his famous cakes and pastries. He lived his life for the Lord and the love of his family, each of whom were all very special to him. He will be dearly and lovingly missed.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 18 at 3 pm at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 3215 Trethewey St., Abbotsford.
