It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Peter Enns, beloved husband, father, grand father and great grandfather. Peter passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord with his wife Joan and family at his side.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Anne Enns, his brothers Ernie and Hank, and sisters Kay, Margaret and Esther. Peter was born in Beechy, Saskatchewan and his family move to Abbotsford in 1944 where he spent the rest of his life.
His career was as a teacher/principal for 35 years in the District of Mission. Following retirement in 1990, he utilized his skills as an administrator working for Stillwood Camp, Abby Senior, Lithuania Christian University, ACTS Seminary and was a charter member and moderator of Bakerview Church. Peter had a secure faith in God and was known for being a fair and compassionate man. He leaves behind his wife Joan of 66 years, sons Doug (Naomi) , Dale (Lisa), daughters Christine and Charleen (Vince) Mitchell, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial celebration will be held at Bakerview Church on Tues., March 29 at 6:30pm.
