Jan. 21, 1926 – Nov. 6, 2007
It is with great sadness that the family announce his passing at Christine Morrison Hospice after a very brief illness.
Peter lived life to the fullest. He was born in Portage La Prairie, Man. and moved from Kenora, Ont. to Mission, BC in 1960. Peter proudly served his country in the Canadian Army during WWII.
Peter enjoyed his many years at Birch Bay, poker nights and golfing. He was a true lover of animals and took care of many during his time. His biggest joy was his family.
Peter leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Lavina, son Brad (Anna Lisa) and daughter Shaun (Tom). Also missing their grandfather are grandsons Matts, Samuel and Nicholas and granddaughter Natalie.
Peter requested that friends and family gather at an open house. This will be held at his daughter’s home in Abbotsford on November 24 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Peter preferred a donation to the charity of your choice.
The family gives thanks to Dr. Mehra and Mary for their exceptional care throughout a difficult period.
