Peggy Fernandes passed away on January 29, 2004 in M.S.A. Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband Aubrey, her children Alison, Ronald and David, her grandchildren Kara, Connie, Ian, Cameron and sommer, her daughter-in-law Shirley, sister Marguerite and brother John. Also by many nieces and nephews here, in the U.S. and in the U.K. She has now joined her beloved sister Jackie.
Peggy was blessed with a beautiful operatic singing voice and performed with various musical guilds, both here in Abbotsford and in Trinidad, where she raised her children. Her kindness and generosity will be missed by all who knew her.
Prayers will be offered on Tuesday, February 3rd at 8:00 p.m. in St. Ann's Catholic Church, 3333 Mayfair Avenue, Abbotsford, where Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 4th at 1:00 p.m.
