Paul Norlend
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul, following a brief battle with cancer. Paul faced the last few weeks of life with strong faith, bravery and dignity. Paul passed away in the early morning of June 28, 2005 at the age of 54 years. Paul will forever be loved and missed by his wife Nancy. He is also survived by his precious mother Maxine, children Corrina and Kelly, step-son Atticus, grandson Trent, brother Bill, sister-in-law Clare and nephews Jeremy (Jen), Nathan and Matthew. Predeceased by his father William. Paul recently retired as a police officer with the Abbotsford Police Department and was currently employed by University College of the Fraser Valley as a full time faculty member in the criminology department. Viewing will take place Friday, July 1, 2005 from 7:00 — 9:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 2310 Clearbrook Rd. Funeral Service will be held on Sat. July 2 at 10:00 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church, 3845 Gladwin Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to World Vision or B.C. & Yukon Cancer Society.
