Patrick "Pat" McConnell, late of Abbotsford, passed away on April 27, 2018 at home with his family.
He is survived by his wife Leslie, three daughters and one son: Christine McConnell, Kristina Leech (Brad Jones), Melissa Lepp (Kyle) and Tyler McConnell, and 5 grandchildren who lit up his life: Riley, Mason, Lucan, Jaxon and Avery.
Pat will also be missed by his parents Bob and Bonnie McConnell, brother Gerry, sister Gwen Day (Chad) and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Pat was born in Abbotsford but grew up on the Sunshine Coast. Pat, Leslie and the girls moved to Abbotsford in 1996 and made that their home. Pat loved to golf and fish and was a die-hard Canucks fan. Three of the trips he looked forward to every year were the family vacation, the golf weekend in September and the winter escape each January.
A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Henderson's Fraser Valley Funeral Home, Abbotsford, BC.
