Patricia Irene McLean, 70, of Abbotsford, BC passed away early Monday August 1st, 2022 with her family at her side at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Pat had a long and tough battle with COPD.
She was born to the late Arnold and Irene Anderson, May 10, 1952 in Kamloops, BC.
Pat graduated from Kamloops Senior High School in 1969. Before retiring Pat was a Dietary Supervisor at Maplewood house in Abbotsford. Pat quit her lifelong addiction to smoking cigarettes in 2019 and it was a major victory in her life. We are so proud of her, winning her battle. Pat was also the most colourful person in any room, always wearing bright colours. She loved to thrift, read books, puzzle and had a wonderful sharp sense of humour. She will be missed.
She is survived by her husband, Mickie, her sister Fern, her sons Michael (Suzanne) and Steve (Christine) and five grandchildren: Ander, Gibson, Noelle, Kai and Beau whom she loved very much.
The family says there is no formal memorial service.
They would like to thank the staff in the ICU, Dr Cao and team who helped the family during the difficult time.
