A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 2, 11:30 AM at Fraser River Funeral Home 2061 Riverside Road, Abbotsford, BC. Everyone who knew him is welcome.
Small, quiet, adorable baby with an angel smile. Alex spent his first few years in Village Valava before moving to Kiev, where he started showing his incredible kindness and intelligence to his classmates. He also proved to everyone that size does not limit the justice as he stood up for everyone in his class. In his spare time Alex was a master of puzzles and brain games, incredibly minded. At the age of 9 he moved to Canada, Tisdale, Saskatchewan where he began his Canadian life. Alex was such a loving soul, never a single incident in school and was a straight A student. Alex soon after moved to Abbotsford, BC with his family, where he was known by many to be a man of wisdom, faith, and integrity but also the football player known as Alex Russian. Intelligent sports man who rather chose to seek knowledge and truth of the matter then trouble. Alex mostly read books and learned how to excel in life. Most impressive thing about him is that he never knew how to give up before achieving what he wanted. In follow of his accomplishments he found his one true love Anastasia, with in such a short period of time given to Alex, he was one of the most happiest people alive. He was surrounded by caring friends, loving parents Slav Ruzhyn and Luda Ruzhyn, siblings Edward and Tima, and a wife that was everything to him. Everyone who knew him noticed how happy he was, especially in the last year of his life. Everything that he did, and anyone he encountered, he left a remarkable impact on. Alex's faith in God was the foundation of his life. God's love and wisdom shined through him with every word he spoke. Alex was deeply loved by his family and will be dearly missed, but solace is taken knowing he is now home at rest with Jesus.
