After a lengthy battle with cancer, Norman passed away October 30, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret, six children and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was born in Apsley, Ontario. As a young man he worked as a farmhand in McCord, Saskatchewan, where he met and married his wife Margaret, of 62 years.
He then joined The Royal Canadian Airforce and served across the provinces, until settling in B.C. He was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 57, Abbotsford.
Norman was an employee of Clayburn Harbison Industries for many years, until retirement.
He was an avid fisherman and spent many happy hours on the Vedder.
He enjoyed camping, gardening and spending time in his workshop. No funeral service by request.
