Norbert BEATCH

October 14, 2006

Norbert was born in Cutknife, Sask on June 23, 1924 and passed away suddenly on October 14, 2006 at the Ebenezer Home in Abbotsford BC.  He was pre­deceased by his brothers Omar and Clarence.   He is survived by his loving wife Elaine of 54 years and their children, Mary (Edward Carter), Kathleen (Christopher Hinton) Timothy Beatch, Kenneth (Menna), Gerard Beatch, Joanne (Nicholas Soullie), Gregory (Cindy), Gerald and Janice Beaudry and 19 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his ­brothers Ralph (Bea), Charles (Darlene), Walter (Pauline) Wilmer (Margo) and one sister Mae (Ralph) and their families; and sisters-in-law Kay (Clarence) and Bernice (Omar).  Norbert and Elaine lived in Cloverdale for 18 years and then resided on Vancouver Island for 35 years, returning to the Mainland in November 2005.

Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18 at St. Anne’s Church, 33333 Mayfair St. Abbotsford.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Frank Landry on October 19 at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Schizophrenia Society (Abbotsford Branch) 2615A Montrose Ave., Abbotsford BC or charity of choice would be appreciated.
