November 5, 1921 - February 1, 2022
Nicholas John Dyck, born November 5, 1921 in Nikolaipol, Ukraine, was called to meet his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on February 1, 2022.
In 1923 his family immigrated to Canada, first to Saskatchewan, and then as a young man he moved to the Fraser Valley. It was here he accepted the call to pastoral ministry and throughout his life answered that call, both locally and internationally.
This included pastoring at Central Heights Church for 11 years, initiating the planting of 32 new churches in BC, filling interim pastoral needs, and leading numerous overseas mission trips. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Elizabeth of 74 years, six children and spouses, Carolyne & David McCauley, Bob & Grace, Lorraine & Walter Wiebe, John & Suzette, Evelyn & David Nelson, Charles (Chuck) & Susan, 17 grandchildren and spouses and 14 great grandchildren.
Special thanks to Dad's exceptional team of Health Care workers. A memorial service will be held on February 11, 2 pm at Central Heights Church. Vaccination passports are required for attendance. Live-streaming will be available at https://www.legacystreaming.com/wiebejeske.
In honor of Nicholas' passion for missions donations may be made to Multiply at www.multiply.net - Ukraine Project C0701.
