SHULL, Nestor

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Dr. Nestor Shull, DC (retired) at his home in Penticton, BC on January 6, 2011 at the age of 78. Nestor was born in Ituna, Saskatchewan on April 16, 1932. He attended the New York Institute of Chiropractic, and graduated in 1956. On September 8, 1956 he married Minerva Gonzalez. He moved back to British Columbia in December 1958 where he spent the rest of his life.

Predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Victoria, Nestor is survived by his spouse Minerva Shull (separated); three sons Clayton (Llyra), Nickolas (Shawnna) & Kurt (Lea Anne); 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Leo (Alice); and his special friend Paulette Batstone. He loved the spirit of giving and never expected anything in return. He lived life to the fullest and tried to stay active. He will be incredibly missed and be in our hearts forever. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Penticton Funeral Chapel, 501 Winnipeg St, Penticton, BC. A reception will follow the service.
