Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother on January 22, 2019 in her 92nd year. She passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side at Tabor Home in Abbotsford, BC.
Mom was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Bob in 1996, her sister Lorna, and nieces Barb and Sandra. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Robert, Doug (Rose), Michael (Kathy), daughter Catherine (Ken); grandchildren Ashlee, Robert, Nun, Nook, Christopher, Griffin, Nicole and Kendas. She will be missed as well by her many friends, nephews and cousins.
Mom was a long-time resident of Abbotsford who was a passionate gardener with a love of nature and music. She was a tireless contributor to the community through her volunteer work with the Cancer Society, Big Brothers & Sisters, numerous sports teams, and participated in many school functions.
We would like to thank the many staff at Tabor Home for their exceptional care of our dear mom. A special thank you to her friend and caregiver Marion and Dr. W. Chan.
