PLECAS - Myrtle. Myrtle Plecas aged 85, passed away at the Dr. Stuart Pavilion in Mission on December 7, 2011. She is survived by her brothers; Gordon (Joan), Don (Dianne), her children; Sharon (Bruce), Darryl (Joanne); Danny (Gwen), Penny (Doug), Michael (Tamara); 10 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Myrtle was born and raised in Huntington by her pioneering parents, William and Jenny Waterston. In 1946, she married John (passed away in 2002), and moved to Surrey, where she raised her 5 children. She was a hard working mother who had a generous spirit and a thoughtful approach to those she knew. In retirement she moved back to Abbotsford where she continued her love of gardening and a good cup of English tea. A memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home 7386 Horne Street, Mission, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army in Myrtle's memory would be appreciated.
