LAXTON Myrtle. Late of Abbotsford, BC, passed away peacefully at the Cascades Care home in Chilliwack December 25, 2012 at the age of 82 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard (2010). She is survived by her children Ron (Velma), Dave (Susan), Linda (Scott), Verna (Bryn), Chris (Michelle), and Keith. Myrtle was born near Hixon, BC in 1930 and in 1947 married Richard who was her soul mate for 63 years. They moved to the Fraser Valley where they raised their 6 children and operated a dairy farm until 1973. They moved to Salmon Arm for 2 years but moved back to Abbotsford to be with family and where they remained until age and health took them to Cascades Care home in Chilliwack. Special thanks to the staff at the care home for their loving care of our parents during their last years. Richard and Myrtle will be laid to rest in March at the Aberdeen Cemetery.
