Myra Olson (nee Soderberg), of Abbotsford BC passed away on January 27th at age 84.
She was born on May 13th, 1936 in Melford, SK. Mom married the love of her life, Earl, on December 6th, 1952. They were blessed with five children.
Mom had many passions in life including gardening and cooking that she enjoyed sharing with the ones she loved. She also shared her wealth of knowledge with many young women during her 45 years with Girl Guides of Canada.
An avid quilter, Myra was part of the Abbotsford Quilters Guild for over 24 years, during this time, she helped people in need through her "We Care" quilts.
Myra was predeceased by her husband and one daughter Janine (Rod). Mom is lovingly remembered by her remaining four children Earl (Diana), Neena (Brian), Eric and Kim (Paul), eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
