It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Muriel on March 20th, 2008. Muriel was born August 3, 1921 in Abernethy Saskatchewan, daughter of Percy and Bea Lines. Muriel took a business course in Regina then worked in Winnipeg where she married Ted. They moved to New Westminster, B.C. and had two children, Barry and Karen. Muriel and the children moved to Dewdney in 1957 and helped her parents run the general store for seven years. Muriel worked at Whonnock Lumber for a few years, she moved to Mission in the 1970's & sold Avon, Regal and was the Welcome Wagon hostess for many years. She attended the Anglican church for many years and then Mt. Calvary Lutheran where she was involved with the seniors group and MOPS. Muriel loved to travel and went to many places and took many cruises. She loved to garden and play cards, she was on bowling and lawn bowling leagues & square danced for about 40 years with the Mission Star Thrus. Muriel led a full life, but when her health began to fail she moved to Saskatchewan to live with her daughter. She is survived by her sister Bea (Nelson), son Barry, daughter Karen (Ken), grandchildren Paula, Laura, Donna, David and Matthew, great grandchildren Megan, Todd, Brook and Kurt.
