Mrs. Lillian Pearl Collins, late of Matsqui Village, passed away surrounded by her family on June 23, 2005 at the age of 73 years at Mission Memorial Hospital.
She will be deeply missed by Glenn, her husband of 49 years and best friend, children: Larry (Rose), Ken (Sherry), and Donna (Steve); grandchildren: Ryan, Ashley, Mandy, Craig, Rachelle, Darren, and Brandon; brother Larry (Karen) and family, cousin Bruce (Alice) and family, as well as many close friends and neighbours.
She was predeceased by her baby daughter Trina in 1963, mother Helga in 1999 and father Ivor in 1974.
Lillian was a long-time Matsqui Village resident. She was a very devoted mother and homemaker. She loved her cats and dogs and enjoyed collecting many things. She was caring, giving, soft and kind and a friend to all. She was always there for her family, making sure their needs were met before her own.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at
12:30 pm at Matsqui Lutheran Church, 5781 Riverside Street, Matsqui. Interment will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
