Mr. Joseph "Joe" Lueke peacefully passed away into the presence of his Lord on Jan. 31, 2006 at the age of 87. He was born on Sept. 18, 1918 in Willmont, Sask.
Joe will be deeply missed by his children: daughters Gennie (Donald) Whalley of Abbotsford, Shirley Brown (Dave Voth) of Abbotsford and Carol (Glenn) Kelso of Nanaimo; grandchildren: Jordy, Jason (Denise), Nathan, Jacob (Joyce), Dania and Dylan; and great grandchildren: Blake, Jadene, Nicolas and Ethan. He will also be missed by 4 Âsisters: Alvina Haslebeck, Lena Wollmann, Mary Schmid and Clara Lukan and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 6 Âbrothers and 2 sisters.
A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Sat., Feb. 4, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home, 34537 Marshall Rd. (at Sumas Way). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Joe.
